G7d <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> DECLARING CANVASS OF RETURNS AND RESULT OF GENERAL <br /> MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD ON APRIL 11 , 1972 <br /> WHEREAS , the Council of the City of Redwood City , by <br /> Resolution No . 6693 , duly passed and adopted on March 6 , 1972 , <br /> designated the precincts and polling places and appointed the <br /> members of the precinct boards for the general election to be <br /> held in said City of Redwood City uii April 11 , 1972 , as 1equii: ed <br /> by law , for the objects and purposes of electing the following <br /> municipal officers of said City of Redwood City : <br /> Four (4 ) Councilmen for the full <br /> term of four (4 ) years each ; and <br /> WHEREAS , said general municipal election was held on Tuesday , <br /> April 11 , 1972 , in accordance with law , and the votes thereat <br /> received and canvassed , and the returns thereof ascertained , <br /> determined and declared in all respects as required by law ; <br /> NOW , THEREFORE ; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY , <br /> AS FOLLOWS : <br /> 1 . That the City Clerk of the City of Redwood City be , and <br /> is herebby , instructed to enter this resolution on the minutes of <br /> this Council as a statement of the result of said election . <br /> 2 . That the whole number of votes cast in said City at <br /> 77i. <br /> said general municipal election was -7, 9-548- votes . <br /> 3 . That the list of candidates nominated for the office <br /> of Councilman to be filled at said general municipal election <br /> and the names of the candidates which were set forth in the <br /> petitions assembled and filed with the City Clerk , as required <br /> by law , and the number of votes cast: Ln favor of each of the <br /> candidates were as follows : <br /> c <br />
