In connection with <br /> acquisition of new mini buses , City requires such funds . <br /> Adoption of the resolution would authorize and direct Staff to <br /> prepare and file the necessary application . Motion carried on <br /> roll call vote , Councilman Williams being noted absent , <br /> APPOINTMENTS , Port Commission , Nominations had been made for two <br /> vacancies . Ballots were cast , following which Mayor Keckley <br /> announced the appointment of Mr , Gary Doupnik and Mr . Gerald O . <br /> Johnson to terms on the Board of Port Commissioners expiring in <br /> 1977 . (MINUTE ORDER 1-72.135 ) <br /> Councilman Leipzig suggested that since the current vacancies <br /> had now been filled on the various Boards and Commissions , this <br /> might be a good time to request guidelines for commissions . <br /> She expressed particular concern with regard to the Civic <br /> Cultural Commission , whose members apparently do not have a clear <br /> understanding of what is expected . Mayor Keckley noted that he <br /> and the City Manager had met one evening with that Commission <br /> in an effort to acquaint them with requirements under the Charter <br /> and Code , but uith little success . <br /> and � � �� � success .
