Approval of salary range and job specifications for Director of Parks and Recreation . Position was authorized by Council and funds provided for in the current Budget . Councilman Henderson moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO . 6765 APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS FOR POSITION OF DIRECTOR OF PARKS AND RECREATION, seconded by Councilman Norris and carried on roll call vote . Councilman Weymouth moved to introduce Ordinance amending Section 23 . 72 of the Code relating to the Establishment and Adjustment of Salaries of certain employees specified therein , seconded by Councilman M_lliams and carried . Councilman Williams moved to introduce Ordinance amending Section 11 of Ordinance NO , 1519 , the Salary Ordinance , relating to position of Director of Parks and Recreation , seconded by Councilman Henderson . Councilman Henderson requested an indication of the timetable for filling the position , and City Manager indicated adver- tisement would appear in the next issue of Western Cities magazine (August issue ) , for applications to be filed by the first of September , Motion carried . ACCEPTANCE of Improvements , Municipal Marina. Launching Ramp Pier . Project had been completed to the satisfaction of the Depart - ment of Public Works and was recommended for acceptance , subject to the usual guarantees . Councilr::a.n Norris moved to accept the project , subject to the usual one -year guarantee of material and workmanship , and to authorize recordation of Notice of Acceptance , seconded by Councilman Henderson and carried .
