(Ref ' d to City Manager by <br /> Mayor Keckley for a report . ) <br /> Recommendation : Refer to City Manager to <br /> respond as to Council ' s <br /> position . <br /> 4 . Copy of letter to Board of Supervisors from State Department <br /> of Public Works , advising of County ' s share of Federal Aid <br /> UrbanEystem funds , and requesting submittal of procedures for <br /> determining priority projects . <br /> Recommendation : Refer to Staff . ( Councilman <br /> - Norris noted the fairly tight <br /> schedule and expressed hope <br /> that Staff would be prepared <br /> with recommendations at the <br /> next meeting (August 1)4th ) . ) <br /> Councilman Weymouth commented on one further communication received <br /> from California Regional Water Quality Control Board , notice of <br /> cancellation of public hearing, relating to SCSP . He advised that <br /> a meeting was held the previous Friday morning attended by staff <br /> and Council appointees , as well as the attorney for the advisory <br /> group (Redwood City Attorney) , and deferred to City Attorney for <br /> further comment . City Attorney reported a hearing had been set <br /> relating to alleged violations . Steering Committee , John Jenks <br /> and he conferred , and it was their position there was no evidence <br /> whatsoever of any violations with respect to receiving waters . <br /> This point was made to Board staff , and they subsequently indicated <br /> they would cancel the meeting , but did request an increase in dis - <br /> infectant to bring the effluent to bathing water standards before <br /> it gets to the pipes to the outran . On interim basis , this was <br /> consented to , with the view to review this kind of requirement . <br /> The hearing originally scheduled for Tuesday , August 8 , had been <br /> cancelled , In response to question from Council , City Attorney <br /> advised that nothing in writing had ever been received as to what <br /> the alleged violations were . <br /> Councilman Henderson moved to accept COMMUNICATIONS and authorize <br /> implementation of recommendations , seconded by Councilman Norris <br /> and carried .
