M-)en , Planning <br /> Director Ken Schroeter , and Stenographer Anna Hampton . <br /> Councilman Norris moved to approve , as submitted , Minutes of Regular <br /> Meeting of August 28 , 1972 , and Minutes of Executive Session of. <br /> August 28 , 1972 , seconded by Councilman Rhodes and carried , Mayor <br /> Keckley abstaining because of absence from the previous meeting . <br /> PUBLIC HEARING , Resolution of Intention of the Planning Commission <br /> to initiate proceedings to add Section 2 . 90 and add Article 35 , <br /> Ordinance No . 1130 , the Zoning Ordinance , relating to service <br /> stati nns , declared reopened from Council meeting of August 21 , <br /> 1972 . Full_ reports were submitted to the Council , together with <br /> the Ordinance as had been modified by the City Attorney . There <br /> were no communications . <br /> City Manager suggested to Council if there were any questions as <br /> to the intent of the Ordinance , perhaps the questions should be <br /> fi. rected to the City Attorney . City Attorney indicated there <br /> perhaps were certain areas that the Council might want to direct <br /> their attention to , such as the so - called amorti_ zati -rn period <br /> during which the orders become effective with regard to existing <br /> stations . This related in particular to such matters as land - <br /> scaping , signs , fences , walls and screening , and outdoor storage <br /> and refuse areas .
