<br /> referred to the Specifications ( Requirements
<br /> Agreement ) , Item 7 , Location of Processing
<br /> Facilities , which require the vendor shall be
<br /> located within a fifty mile radius of Redwood
<br /> City , and questioned whether this would disqualify
<br /> L & N Uniform Supply whose processing plant he
<br /> understood was in Anaheim . They did have a depot
<br /> in San Jose , where work was brought in and made
<br /> up for delivery .
<br /> City Manager pro tem advised that Staff had inquired of L & N as to location
<br /> processing would actually be carried out , and their response was that the
<br /> garments would be processed at the production facilities of Savon Wholesale
<br /> Cleaners , 1324 Fitzgerald Avenue , San Francisco . This was followed up by
<br /> telephone contact of Savon , which indicated they would do the pickup , cleaning
<br /> and delivery . In addition , apparently it was true the uniforms have been
<br /> shipped to Santa Ana in the past .
