ORAL COMMUNICATIONS <br /> A. Joan Jordan, Jefferson Avenue merchant, described the open house on <br /> Sunday at the new Redwood City Arts Center. Mrs. Jordan advised that <br /> twenty-eight artists had signed up for the available spaces and there was <br /> a waiting list of seventeen. The grand opening is scheduled to take <br /> place some time after October 1st. <br /> B. Ahmed Abdelnaby, 412 Lanyard Drive, described the dispute he is having <br /> with his Homeowners Association in Redwood Shores. In response to <br /> Council questions, City Attorney Schricker advised that the Council has <br /> no jurisdiction in this matter, and no authority to enforce or prevent <br /> enforcement of CC&Rs. City Attorney Schricker suggested that Mr. <br /> Abdelnaby either consult his own counselor contact a neighborhood <br /> dispute resolution organization.
