DES:em 4/16/70 <br />�✓ <br />aea 20 i4 <br />RESOLUTION N0. e26 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />DECLARING CANVASS OF RETURNS AND RESULT OF GENERAL <br />MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD ON APRIL 140 1970 <br />0 <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City, by <br />Resolution No. 6228, duly passed and adopted on March 2, 19701 <br />designated the precincts and polling places and appointer: the <br />members of the precinct boards for the general election to be <br />held in said City of Redwood City on April 14, 1970, as required <br />by law, for the objects and purposes of electing the following <br />municipal officers of said City of Redwood City: <br />Three (3) Councilmen for the full term of <br />four (4) years each; and <br />WHEREAS, said general municipal election was held on <br />Tuesday April 14, 1970, in accordance with law, and the votes <br />thereat received and canvassed, and the returns thereof ascertained, <br />determined and declared in all respects as required by law; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. That the City Clerk of the City of Redwood City be, and <br />is hereby, instructed to enter this resolution on the minutes <br />of this Council as a statement of the result of said election. <br />2. That the whole number of votes cast in said City at <br />said general municipal election was 6,444 votes. <br />3.
