(Copies submitted to Council) <br />Mayor Bury referred to his report to Council relative to the proposal by Foster & <br />Kleiser to designate a day the next week as Redwood City Day, and their request for a <br />tape session with Council members to record comments. He indicated that, while they <br />requested this be done in their Oakland studio, he had suggested they might be more <br />successful in reaching all the members if it were set up here, instead. <br />Mayor Bury requested approval to leave the State until Saturday, which was approved — <br />on motion of Councilman Petersen, seconded by Councilman Weymouth and carried. <br />(MINUTE ORDER #70-55) <br />Mayor Bury reminded Council of the retirement dinner for Chief Lodi. Councilman Hender- <br />son announced Legislative Committee meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 17, at 7:45 A.M. <br />Councilman Petersen advised that the Transportation Committee had met Wednesday morning <br />and discussed possibility of building a passenger shelter at the central bus terminal, <br />and noting the 2nd Anniversary of the system is on Wednesday and that a promotion <br />celebrating that event is planned. <br />Councilman Rosselli moved to accept the report of Transportation Committee, seconded by <br />Councilman Henderson, (MINUTE ORDER #70-56) <br />Motion to adjourn was made by Councilman Petersen, seconded by Councilman Keckley and — <br />carried.
