Reiter expressed feeling that quality was not being sacrificed inpianning for wooden fence vs . concrete , as all wood treated for preservation and revised plans as now being presented will provide for a mass construction at lesser costs and still with the same design . Councilman Weymouth moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO , 6023 AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND THE REDWOOD CITY DOWNTOWN ASSOCIATION RELATING TO THE ADMINISTRATION OF FUNDS FOR DOWNTOWN PARKING AND BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT AREA NO . 1 , seconded by Councilman Rosselli . It was noted this matter had been continued from the meeting of June 23rd and re - ferred to the Council ' s Special Districts Committee for review , Councilman Weymouth , Chairman of this Committee , reported a meeting had been held with Committee members , four members from the Downtown Association , and CityStaff , at which an opportunity had been given to review some of the proposed items budgeted for the coming year , discussed the possibility of making this agreement renewable by letter of consent hereafter , and that it had been requested that such meetings be scheduled here - after quarterly for benefit of all concerned , to provide better communication be - tween this group and Council , ( Memo 7/8/69 ) Mayor Bury noted that Hugh Green , President of this Association , was present , as well as other members of their Association , and expressed appreciation of their endeavors , Motion carried on roll call vote , Councilman Arnett being noted absent . Councilman Petersen moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO , 6021 APPROVING AGREEMENT BETWEEN CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA , DEPARTMENT OF CONSERVATION, DIVISION OF FORESTRY , PROVIDING FOR EXCHANGE OF FIRE PROTECTION SERVICES , AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION THEREOF , seconded by Councilman Henderson . Staff reported this was the standard State Division of Forestry Mutual Aid Agreement , providing for exchange of aid in San Mateo County for five years , no monetary -° considerations being involved , and had been requested by Fire Chief Lodi . Motion carried on roll call vote , Councilman Arnett being noted absent . Councilman Keckley moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO , 6025 APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR RIGHT OF WAY APPRAISAL AND NEGOTIATION SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH BREWSTER AVENUE -EL CAMINO REAL WIDENING AND JEFFERSON AVENUE-EL CAMINO REAL WIDENING , seconded by Councilman Rosselli . City Attorney recommended approval of this agreement so that he might proceed with the necessary acquisition of property required for these improvements . Motion carried on roll call vote , Councilman Arnett being noted absent . Councilman Rosselli moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO , 6026 ASCERTAINING AND DETERMINING THE GENERAL PREVAILING RATE OF PER DIEM WAGES IN THE LOCALITY, seconded by Councilman Petersen .
