Senior Affairs Commission Page 2 <br /> Minutes of Thursday, August 8, 1996 <br /> ITEM 2-TRANSPORTATION <br /> There was nothing to report. <br /> ITEM 1- REVIEW OF 95-96 WORKPLAN ACCOMPLISHMENTS AND <br /> DEVELOPMENT OF 96-97 WORKPLAN <br /> The Commissioners reviewed their 95-96 Workplan and listed their <br /> accomplishments for each item listed which included: Housing, Education <br /> for Community, Elder Abuse, Health Care, Transportation, Peer Counseling, <br /> and Consumer Watch. They also submitted ideas for their 96-97 Workplan <br /> which coincide with the City Council goals and objectives. A copy of the <br /> proposed 96-97 Workplan ideas will be mailed to each Commissioner; all <br /> comments or changes should be given to Chairperson Lloyd. The 96-97 <br /> Workplan is due to Mayor Hartnett by August 30, 1996. <br /> ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> There were no announcements. <br /> The regular meeting of the Senior Affairs Commission was adjourned at <br /> 5:00pm to be reconvened at 3:00pm on Thursday, September 12, 1996 at the <br /> Senior Center Annex, 711 Nevada Street, Redwood City, California. <br />
