"(b) Basic Water Rates <br />There are hereby established <br />basic water rates to be charged and collected for water <br />supplied by the City of Redwood City to consumers served <br />by the water system owned or operated by the City of <br />Redwood City, for water delivered, based on monthly readings, <br />as follows: <br />QUANTITY <br />"(1) For the first 3,300 <br />cu. ft. <br />"(2) For the next 30,000 <br />cu. ft. <br />"(3) For all quantities over <br />33,300 cu. ft. <br />BASIC RATE <br />66.6 cents per 100 <br />cu. ft. <br />54.5 cents per 100 <br />cu. ft. <br />48.5 cents per 100 <br />cu. ft. <br />"(c) Monthly Water Quantity Charges. A monthly <br />water quantity charge for water supplied by the water <br />system owned or operated by the City of Redwood City shall <br />be paid by consumers for water quantities furnished to <br />premises located within the hereinafter designated water <br />service areas in an amount equal to the applicable basic <br />water quantity rate or rates times the corresponding <br />quantity of water consumed (as determined pursuant of <br />§3(b), above) times the multiplier hereinafter set forth: <br />WATER SERVICE AREA <br />Area <br />1 <br />Area <br />2 <br />Area <br />3 <br />Area <br />4 <br />Area <br />5 <br />Area <br />6 <br />MULTIPLIER <br />1.0 <br />1.4 <br />1.1 <br />1.9 <br />1.4 <br />1.4 <br />"(d) Bi -Monthly Billing.
