08/22/2016 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 15518 <br /> RESOLUTION OF CITY OF REDWOOD CITY APPOINTING VERONICA <br /> RAMIREZ TO THE POSITION OF CITY ATTORNEY OF THE CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY AND AUTHORIZING MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN <br /> EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City ("City") has a need to hire a City Attorney; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, Veronica Ramirez ("City Attorney") possesses the skills and <br /> expertise necessary to perform these services; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City desires to enter into an Employment Agreement to set forth <br /> the terms and conditions of City Attorney's duties as City Attorney. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of <br /> Redwood City, as appointing authority, hereby appoints Veronica Ramirez as City <br /> Attorney and approves the Employment Agreement Between City of Redwood City and <br /> Veronica Ramirez in substantially the same form attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and <br /> authorizes and directs the Mayor to execute same for and on behalf of the City of <br /> Redwood City. <br /> * * * <br /> ATTY/RES0.0076/CC RESO AUTHORIZING CITY ATTORNEY EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT WITH VERONICA RAMIREZ <br /> REV: 08-22-16 MK <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br />
