Regulations sections 60314 and 60323 (Title 22, Division 4, Chapter 3) prior <br /> to building permit issuance. [COA][PUBLIC WORKS] <br /> 34. Backflow Protection — Backflow protection on domestic, fire, and irrigation water <br /> services shall be required. The backflow preventer shall be above grade, and shall be <br /> located on private property, accessible to the Public Works division from the outside for <br /> testing. [COA][ENGINEERING] <br /> 35. Fire Flow - The Project shall meet fire flow requirements as established by the Fire <br /> Department which are based on the Fire Code. Fire flow tests are typically performed <br /> during the preliminary design phase but must be completed prior to submittal of final <br /> design. Applicant shall contact the Fire Department for fire flow requirements, and then <br /> submit a written fire flow test request to Engineering. [COA][ENGINEERING] <br /> 36. C3 Requirements - Plans shall be designed to meet C3 requirements of the Municipal <br /> Regional Permit (MRP) NPDES Permit CAS 612008. [SDR][ENGINEERING] <br /> a. Treatment Controls —Treatment controls shall be designed and sized to treat <br /> run-off from the entire project (including all existing, new, and/or replaced <br /> impervious areas) using flow or volume based sizing criteria specified in <br /> Provision C.3.d of the Municipal Regional Stormwater Permit. <br /> i. Applicant shall coordinate installation of stormwater treatment measures <br /> with the municipality and shall arrange to have the City's designated <br /> inspector present at the time of installation. <br /> ii. Applicant shall arrange for final inspection of installed stormwater <br /> treatment measure by the City's designated inspector within 45 days of <br /> installation or project construction completion, whichever comes first. <br /> b. Tree Wells - High flow-rate tree well filter products and/or high flow-rate media <br /> filter products shall be certified by the Technical Assessment Protocol Ecology <br /> (TAPE) of the Washington State Department of Ecology as meeting the TAPE <br /> protocol General Use Level Designation for Basic Treatment. For TAPE <br /> program information and use level designation statements. <br /> c. Low Impact Design (LID) — LID treatment measures to be shown on final <br /> improvement or grading plans shall not differ materially from the LID treatment <br /> measures presented on the project's Tentative Parcel Map, approved on August <br /> 16, 2016, without written approval from the Planning Department. <br /> d. No Dumping — All drain inlets shall be clearly marked with the words "No <br /> Dumping! Flows to Bay,"or equivalent using thermoplastic material or a plaque. <br /> e. Non-LID - Design of non-LID treatment measures shall be consistent with <br /> applicable technical guidance in Chapter 6 of the C.3 Technical Guidance. <br /> f. Use of Copper- Projects with architectural copper should, if possible, purchase <br /> copper materials that have been pre-patinated at the factory.
