• Assist and support After School Director in connecting with other program on campus to <br /> assure services are aligned with goals and integrated with each other <br /> • Lead School Site Council and Leadership team and assist and support the visibility and <br /> understanding of non-academic programs on campus <br /> 1V. Organizational Practices <br /> The Redwood City School District and the City of Redwood City through the Parks and <br /> Recreation Community Services agree on the following practices: <br /> Communication <br /> • Accord respect to everyone at all times. <br /> • Interface with children and families in a warm, encouraging, strength-based way. <br /> • Participate in the creation and development of an effective internal communication <br /> system among service providers, this will allow for the timely notice of changes in <br /> service, staffing or schedule and other important issues. <br /> Evaluation/Coordination <br /> • Prevent duplication of services by informing either Director of School Community <br /> Partnerships, or the other providers of your organization's menu of services. <br /> • Collaborate and plan with the Director of School Community Partnerships to ensure an <br /> integrated delivery of services to students, families' and community (where applicable). <br /> • Coordinate evaluation efforts with the Director of School Community Partnerships to <br /> streamline data collection, avoid redundancy, share findings and data across programs <br /> and services and increase effectiveness and use of findings. <br /> • Participate in the Youth Data Archives project to share data across county, city, school, <br /> and non-profit entities in order to understand large-scale impact, cost-effectiveness, <br /> program modifications and improvements, if possible. <br /> • Where possible consolidate resources with other providers in the Community School to <br /> support a mutual target group, or to include a wider cross-section of needs. <br /> Service Delivery <br /> • Make the safety and well being of each child a primary consideration in the planning <br /> and executive of activities. <br /> • Remain informed concerning the various services and opportunities available to the <br /> students and parents through the diverse service providers in the school. <br /> • To the extent possible, support special projects, events and activities for children and <br /> families. <br /> • Support the school's disciplinary plan by enforcing the practice of school rules when <br /> children are within our care. <br /> • Demonstrate a strong commitment to seeking solutions and not casting blame. <br /> • Use the community as an authentic, invaluable learning center. <br /> V. Staff and Program Management <br /> PRCS Director at Selby Lane School will be co-managed by Director of School Community <br /> Partnerships or her designee and PRCS Manager.
