motion , was not commenced until after said written description of <br /> the proposal for said annexation was filed with the Secretary of <br /> the San Mateo County Boundary Commission , and until after said <br /> Commission made , or caused to be made , its report and approved <br /> said boundaries ; and <br /> WHEREAS , this Council has further received evidence showing , <br /> and has found , and again finds : <br /> ( 1) That said territory is situate immediately adjacent to <br /> and touches and is contiguous to the boundaries of the City of <br /> Redwood City ; and <br /> ( 2) That on April 2 , 1959 , this Council did adopt its Res - <br /> olution No . 2678 , entitled `Resolution of the Council of the City <br /> of Redwood City Giving Notice of , and Declaring its Intention to , <br /> Initiate on its own Motion Proceedings to Annex to said City Cer- <br /> tain Uninhabited Territory ; Describing said Territory and Designa- <br /> ting it by the Name ' Leslie Annexation No . 3 ' ; Giving its Reasons <br /> for Desiring said Annexation ; Making Certain Findings Respecting <br /> said Proceedings ; and Giving Notice of the Time and Place said <br /> Council will Hear Protests to said Annexation , ' wherein it gave <br /> notice of said proposed annexation , described said territory and <br /> designated it by the above mentioned name , made certain findings <br /> respecting said proposal and gave notice of the time and place said <br /> Council would hear protests thereto ; and <br />
