Tucker Section j: All persons qualified to vote at municipal elections in said City of Redwood City upon the date of the election herein provided for shall be qualified to vote upon the proposition hereby submitted at said special election. Section g. The ballots to be used at said special election shall have printed thereon the following: SPECIAL MUNICIPAL BOND ELECTION CITY OF REDWOOD CITY September 24 , 1935 INSTRUCTIONS TO VOTD• S : To vote for or against a proposition stamp a cross ( X) in the voting square after the word "YES" or after the word "NO" . All marks except the cross ( X) are forbidden. All distinguishing marks or erasures are forbidden and make the ballot void. If you wrongly stamp , tear or deface this ballot , return it to the Inspector of Election and obtain another. PROPOSITION: Shall the City of Redwood City incur a bonded indebtedness in the principal sum of $ : • ; in accordance with the provisions of the ordinance : ,YES calling the election at which this proposition is submitted , for : the object and purpose of acquiring the following municipal im- provement of said City , to-wit : A municipal investment bond fund to be used for the purchase of municipal securities or evidences : : : of debt either of said City of Redwood City or of boroughs or dis- : tricts therein; including municipal bonds of said City , bonds of : boroughs or districts therein or any bonds or liens arising out of : NO • the construction or acquiring of public improvements by local assessment within said municipality? On the reverse of the ballot shall be printed the words "Municipal Ticket . " Section g, Each voter to vote for said proposition hereby submitted and for incurring said bonded indebtedness shall stamp a cross ( X) in the blank space opposite the word "YES" on the ballot to the right of said proposition , and to vote against said proposition and against incurring said indebtedness shall stamp a cross (X) in the blank space opposite the word. "NO " on the ballot to the right of said proposition. Section 10 . This ordinance shall be published once a day for at least seven ( 7 ) days in Redwood City Tribune which is a newspaper published at least six ( 6 ) days a week in said City of Redwood City , and such publication shall constitute notice of said election. No other notice of the election hereby called need be given . Section 11 . This ordinance shall be forthwith entered upon the minutes of this Council and in the ordinance book of said City . This ordinance being an ordinance ordering and calling an election shall take effect from and after its final passage and approval .
