Act Assessments and that there would be <br /> another meeting of the committee on March 3 to conclude arrangements . <br /> Councilman Eva also spoke again about the number and kind of solicitors through the resi- <br /> dential sections of the City and asked if the ordinance could not be made more <br /> restrictive . The matter was referred to the City Attorney and Chief of Police for <br /> their recommendation. <br /> Mr. Peters , representing Henry Witte ' s office , Insurance Agent for the City , filed a state- <br /> ment of fire insurance covering city property, tabulating the costs for three and five <br /> year periods . It was decided that this report be checked by Councilman McCarthy and <br /> Mayor Lambert and a report made at the next meeting , with the understanding that the <br /> risk was being handled by a 30-day covering note. <br /> On motion of Councilman Christensen , seconded by Councilman McNulty , the City Treasurer was <br /> authorized to accept the offer of Stone & Youngberg for certain 1915 Act Bonds and to <br /> draw up the necessary warrant upon receipt of the bonds , which in detail appear below: <br /> Series Amount Price <br /> 3-10 $1 ,000 91 <br /> 0 1 , 500 93 <br /> P 2 , 500 92 <br /> Q 2 , 000 92 <br /> $7 ,000 $6 , 445 <br /> On motion of Councilman Eva , seconded by Councilman McNulty , there was adopted a resolution <br /> accepting a Deed for Lot "A" of the Belle Haven Subdivision No . 2 , and the Treasurer <br /> was authorized to issue warrant to the California Pacific Title & Trust Company in the <br /> sum of $116 . 50 to cover payment of the lot , title fees , etc . <br /> On motion of Councilman Eva , seconded by Councilman Christensen , there was adopted a reso- <br /> lution authorizing Quit Claim Deed , and specifically authorizing Mayor Lambert and <br /> City Clerk , B . E. Myers , to execute and deliver to the Lenolt Securities Corporation a <br /> Quit Claim Deed to Lot B , Block 601 , Highlands of Emerald Lake , Subdivision No. 6 . <br /> Councilman Eva , seconded by Councilman McNulty , proposed the adoption of resolution directing <br /> that " Stop" signs be placed at several streets along the right-of-way of the Southern <br /> Pacific Company. Carried. <br /> Councilman McCarthy read a letter from Stone & Youngberg in which the City Treasurer was <br /> accused of giving out information which re-acted unfavorably to the purchase of 1915 <br /> Act Bonds by Stone & Youngberg. Upon request of Councilman McCarthy , the letter was <br /> ordered filed. <br /> On motion of Councilman Christensen , seconded by Councilman McCarthy , Emil Dehoff was <br /> granted permission to use the following described space for the purpose of erecting <br /> further buildings at his project at the Yacht Harbor , with no rental to attach at <br /> present . <br />
