265 MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING REDWOOD CITY COUNCIL FEBRUARY 1 , 1937 g o ' clock p. m. Upon roil call , the following Councilmen were present : Mayor , Paul A. McCarthy , L. C . Christensen , J M. E E Eva, A, Pletcher and R. N. Jones. Absent : Councilmen Wm. Hokin , G. W. McNulty and City Clerk , B . E. Myers . In the absence of City Clerk B. E . Myers , Councilman J. M. Eva , vas , on motion of Councilman Christensen , seconded by Councilman Jones , appointed Clerk pro tem. Carried. The minutes of the meeting of January 18 , 1937 , were approved on motion of Councilman Christensen, seconded by Councilman Fletcher. A petition to annex certain harbor land territory near Redwood Harbor was , on motion of Councilman Eva, seconded by Councilman Christensen , and carried , ordered filed. . The City Attorney presented the following Resolution of Intention No. 1937-1 in reference to the annexation of the territory described in the petition just filed. Said Resolution of Inten- tion was unanimously adopted by the Councilmen present , upon motion of Councilman Jones , seconded by Councilman Christensen.
