Passed and adonted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at a <br /> regular meeting thereof held on the 7th day of November , 1938 , by the <br /> following vote : <br /> Alves and in favor of the foregoing resolution, Councilmen , H. P. Anderson, <br /> E. A. Fletcher , Wm. Hohn , R. N. Jones , P. A. McCarthy , G. 77. McNulty , <br /> L. C . Christensen. <br /> Noes and against the foregoing resolution , Councilmen , None. <br /> Absent , Councilmen , None . <br /> L . C . Christensen <br /> Mayor of the City of Redwood City <br /> Attest : <br /> _ B . E. Myers <br /> Clerk of the City of Redwood City <br /> I hereby auprove the foregoing resolution this 7th day of November , 1938 . <br /> L. C . Christensen <br /> Mayor of the City of Redwood City <br /> Carried. <br /> After reading a discussion and a request by the League of California Municipalities <br /> for additional contribution by the City of Redwood City , Councilman McCarthy, <br /> seconded by Councilman Anderson , proposed that the City make its share for <br /> 1939 $200 instead of the $150 as at present with the further understanding <br /> that if all cities in the same grade should pay the requested $225 that <br /> Redwood City would also pay. Carried. <br /> Councilman Fletcher spoke of narking difficulties on the south side of Brewster r <br /> Avenue between Arch Street and Arguello Boulevard. He finally proposed that <br /> the City Attorney be instructed to draw an ordinance limiting parking in <br /> that area to one hour. His motion was seconded by Councilman McNulty , but <br /> on vote was lost. <br /> The departmental reports were ordered filed. <br /> The annroved claims were ordered paid on motion of Councilman McNulty , seconded <br /> by Councilman Hohn. <br /> Adjournment . <br /> City Clerk <br /> • <br />
