RESOLU?TION CLOSING AND VACATING , AS A PUBLIC STREET , HIGTWWAY AND RAILROAD CROSSING , THE PROPERTY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED . Wt1E: EAS , the Council of the City of Redwood City did , on the 17th day of October , 1938 , pass and adopt Resolution of Intention No . 1938-6 to order the property hereinafter described to be vacated and closed as a public street , highway and railroad crossing. The property referred to and described in said Resolution of Intention No . 1938-6 is described as follows , to wit : All that certain piece or parcel of land situate , lying and being in the County of San Mateo , State of California, more particularly described as follows , to wit : BEGINNING at a point on the Southeasterly right of way line of the Southern Pacific Railroad Company' s right of way for the Redwood Harbor spur track which is g . 5 feet Southeasterly , measured radially , from the center line of said spur track at Engineer ' s Station 130+50; thence Northeasterly along said Southeasterly right of way line on the arc of a curve concave to the right and having a radius of 1901 . 41 feet ( tangent to said carve at last described Point bears South 18°38 ' 32 ' 1 West ) an arc distance of 49 . 779 feet to a point ; thence North 69°51 ' 28 " West 48 . 5 feet to a point in the Northwesterly 1 : ne of the right of way of said spur track; thence along said right of way line in a Southwesterly direction on the arc of a curve concave to the left and having a radius of 19 +9 . 91 feet ( tangent to said curve at last described point bears North 20°08 ' 32" East ) an arc distance of 51. 035 feet to a point ; thence South 71°21128 " East 48. 5 feet to the point of beginning , containing an area of 2445 square feet , more or less. WHEREAS , a notice of the passage of said Resolution of Intention No . 1938-6 was duly published as required by law in the Redwood City Tribune on October 29th and 31st and on November 1st , 2nd , 3rd , 4th , 5th , 7th , 8th and 9th , 1938 , as appears from the affidavit of Bernice Gardner , now on file in the office of the Clerk of the City of Redwood City , and WHEREAS , it appears that the last day of publication was the 9th day of November 1938 , and WHEREAS , the Street Superintendent of the City of Redwood City did duly post notices of the passage of said Resolution of Intention entitled "Notice of Public Work" along the line of the work and improvement to be done as described in said Resolution of Intention No . 1938- 6 , as appears from the affidavit of C . L . Dimmitt , Street Superintendent , now on file in the office of the Clerk of the City of Redwood City , and it further appears that said notices of passage aforesaid were posted in time , fora and manner as appears from the aforesaid affidavit , and "WHEREAS , within the time allowed by law no protests were made against the work and improvement of closing the hereinbefore described property and said Council of the City of Redwood City now having acquired jurisdiction thereon: THER PORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood City that the following described property : All that certain piece or parcel of land situate , lying; and being in the Count' of San Mateo , State of California , more particularly described as L 477
