MINUTES OF ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING <br /> REDWOOD CITY COUNCIL <br /> DECEMBER 22 , 1938 <br /> 8 : 00 P . M. <br /> Upon roll call the following were present : Councilmen H. F. Anderson , E. A. Fletcher , <br /> Wm. Hohn , R. N . Jones , P . A. McCarthy , G . W. McNulty , Mayor L . C . Christensen , <br /> and City Clerk B . E. Myers . <br /> There was ordered filed, in connection with Resolution of Intention 1938_4 , affidavit <br /> of posting notice of filing street assessment and of time fixed for hearing <br /> thereon by B . E. Myers , City Clerk. Following this , Councilman Fletcher , seconded <br /> by Councilman McNulty , proposed adoption of resolution confirming street assess- <br /> ment No . 1938-4. Carried. <br /> On motion of Councilman Hohn , seconded by Councilman McCarthy , the Council adjourned <br /> to Tuesday , December 27 , 1935 , 8 : 00 P. M. <br /> • <br /> Upon roll call the following were present : Councilmen H. F. Anderson , E. A. Fletcher , <br /> P . A. McCarthy , G. W. McNulty , Mayor L. C . Christensen , and City Clerk B . E. Myers; <br /> absent , Councilmen Wm. Hohn and R . N. Jones . <br /> Alfred Morton , Recreation Director , reported for the committee for dedication of the <br /> new buildings and indicated that they had chosen May 12 as the date , and out- <br /> lined some of the plans for this dedicatory service. His suggestions were <br /> approved by the Council . <br /> Councilman McCarthy , seconded by Councilman McNulty , proposed adoption of resolution <br /> asking that the next legislature do not extend the present moratorium in respect <br /> to the sales of property delinquent for non-payment of taxes. Carried. <br /> After filing Affidavit of Publication of Advertisement for Bids for furniture and <br /> equipment for both Public Library and the City Hall , the City Manager reported <br /> the opening of bids as shown on page 488 . The City Manager , because of the <br /> diversity of items , was unable to make a recommendation , and award of contract <br /> was laid over until the Adjourned Meeting of December 29 . <br /> On motion of Councilman McCarthy , seconded by Councilman Anderson , the Council <br /> adjourned to g : 00 P.
