409 <br /> a) <br /> The City Attorney presented an escrow agreement with the Valley and Coast Warehouse <br /> Company instructing the San Mateo County Title Company concerning the purchase <br /> by the City of certain property from the above named Valley and Coast Warehouse <br /> Company . On motion of Councilman McCarthy , seconded by Councilman Fletcher , the <br /> Mayor and City Clerk were authorized to sign the escrow agreement . <br /> Councilman Fletcher , seconded by Councilman Mciulty , proposed adoption of resolution <br /> authorizing the Mayor end the City Clerk to sign agreement with the Southern <br /> Pacific Company relating to the construction of a. road crossing at Redwood City <br /> Port . Carried . <br /> On motion of Councilman Fletcher , seconded by Councilman Mcilulty , it was decided to <br /> advertise for bids for the construction of additional work on Valota Road , bids <br /> to be opened. at 10 A. PAM. ,August g , 1938 .
