" <br /> The City Manager spoke about the possibility of utilizing part of the Sequoia Campus along <br /> the Highway for a City park and on motion of Councilman Lambert , seconded by Councilman <br /> _ Jones , the Council went on record as favoring the project and referred the matter to <br /> the Manager and Attorney to follow up . <br /> The City Manager submitted a tentative budget for the consideration of the Council , but due <br /> to the fact that so much of the budget had been estimated and that the Councilmen had <br /> not time to study it , the matter was laid over until the next meeting. <br /> On motion of Councilman McNulty , seconded by Councilman Beeger, Councilman Jones was given <br /> permission to leave the state . <br /> Councilman Lambert , reporting on the San Carlos situation concerning the poundman , suggested <br /> that there be a charge of $10. 00 per month and special calls at $2 . 00 each with no <br /> patrol duty , and also outlined other activities .
