There will probably be a training session. <br /> • Wider Circle's 2 groups of 10 weeks participants have graduated from their programs with <br /> significant improvements in their health and socialization. <br /> • The VMSC is interviewing for the van driver position. Once another driver is hired,the van <br /> shuttle rides to downtown will be every Friday night,to the farmers market on Saturdays,and <br /> Fair Oaks may use it Wednesdays to the farmers market. It may also be used in December for <br /> the holiday art studios. <br /> • The Friends of the VMSC will have a fundraiser dinner and concert with Rick Stevens on <br /> Septemberl0th to support the lunch and nutrition program at the center. <br /> Adjournment <br /> The regular meeting of the Seniors Affairs Commission was adjourned at 2:20 p.m. The next regular <br /> meeting will be on Thursday,August 4,2016,at 1:00 p.m. in the Veterans Memorial Senior Center in <br /> Redwood City,California. <br />
