Attachment 1 <br /> <br /> <br /> Police Department 1301 Maple Street <br /> JR Gamez Redwood City, CA 94063 <br /> Chief of Police Telephone (650) 780-7122 <br /> Fax Line (650) 780-7149 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />September 13th, 2016 <br /> <br />Ms. Lisa Caswell <br />Sequoia High School Boosters <br />1201 Brewster Ave <br />Redwood City, CA 94062 <br /> <br />Dear Ms. Caswell, <br /> <br />In accordance with Redwood City Code Section 33A.1, the Sequoia High School <br />Boosters is hereby issued this letter permit authorizing the “6th Annual Sequoia <br />Stampede 5K Run/Walk” event in accordance with the terms and conditions herein. <br /> <br />Permission is granted to the Sequoia Boosters (“Permittee”) by the City of Redwood <br />City (“City”). The permit is subject to the following terms and conditions: <br /> <br />1. Name of Event: The 6th Annual Sequoia Stampede 5k Run/Walk shall be <br />conducted by the Permittee. <br /> <br />2. Revocation: This permit may be revoked at any time without cause by the <br />City. <br /> <br />3. Non-Transferability: This permit is non-transferable. <br /> <br />4. Location: The activities herein permitted shall be conducted on Elwood St, <br />Katherine Ave, Nevada St, Outer Circle, Brewster Ave, Topaz St, and James <br />Ave (See Attached map for details). <br /> <br />5. Date and Time: The 6th Annual Sequoia Stampede 5k Run/Walk shall be <br />conducted on Saturday September 24th, 2016. Set-up shall begin at <br />approximately 7:30 a.m., with the event commencing at 9:00 a.m., and ending <br />by 11:00 a.m. The course shall be completely cleared and the roadway <br />reopened by 12:00 p.m. <br /> <br />6. Course Control: Those portions of the 6th Annual Sequoia Stampede 5k <br />Run/Walk taking place in the public right-of-way shall be limited to the area <br />and conducted in a manner designated b y the Police Chief. <br /> <br />7. Insurance: Permittee shall provide City proof of commercial general liability <br />insurance coverage for any and all activities permitted hereunder in the <br />6.3.D. - Page 3
