09/12/2016 <br /> they are in the public interest and consistent with the Redwood City General Plan and <br /> Downtown Precise Plan ; and <br /> WHEREAS , a notice of public hearing on the DTPP Amendment was duly <br /> published in the Daily News at least 10 days prior to the public hearing ; and <br /> WHEREAS, on September 12 , 2016 , the City Council held a public hearing on the <br /> proposed DTPP Amendment and on said date the public hearing was opened , held and <br /> closed ; and <br /> WHEREAS , at the public hearing , the City Council considered the whole of the <br /> record . <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS : <br /> Section 1 . The recitals set forth above are true and correct, and are hereby <br /> incorporated herein by this reference as if fully set forth in their entirety. <br /> Section 2. The City Council hereby finds that the proposed DTPP Amendment is <br /> in the public interest and consistent with the Redwood City General Plan and Downtown <br /> Precise Plan . <br /> Section 3. This proposed DTPP Amendment has been reviewed with respect to <br /> applicability of the California Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA") and the State CEQA <br /> Guidelines (California Code of Regulations, Title 14, Sections 15000 et seq . ) . The <br /> proposed DTPP Amendments falls within the requirements of Section 15183, "Projects <br /> Consistent with a Community Plan , General Plan , or Zoning ." The amendments are <br /> consistent with the DTPP , including the stated vision and guiding principles , do not impact <br /> the approved density for the DTPP area , comply with the General Plan , including the <br /> goals, policies , and programs , and are consistent with the program-level Environmental <br /> Impact Report for the DTPP , certified in 2011 (State Clearinghouse #2006052072) . <br /> Section 4. The City Council hereby adopts amendments to DTPP Sections 2 . 0. 1 , <br /> 2 . 0 .2 , 2 . 1 , 2. 1 .2 , 2.2 . , 2 .2 . 1 , 2 .2 .2 , 2 .2 . 3 , 2 .2 .4, 2 . 8.4 and A1 .2. 1 by adding the text shown <br /> in double underline (example) and deleting the text shown in strikeout (example) , as <br /> provided in Exhibit A, and replacing the Historic Resources Preservation Chart, Use <br /> Regulations Map and Use Regulations Chart as shown in Exhibits B, C and D, <br /> respectively. Wording in brackets ([example]) is informational only and is not to be <br /> included in the published DTPP.
