of the California Department of Industrial Relations shall be filed with, and available for <br /> inspection at the City officers. Contractor shall post, at each job site, a copy of the prevailing <br /> rate of per diem wages. The Contractor shall forfeit fifty dollars ($50.00}for each calendar day <br /> or portion thereof for each worker paid less than the stipulated prevailing rates for any public <br /> work done under the Agreement by it or by any subcontractor under Contractor. <br /> 13. Business License <br /> The successful Contractor that is selected wiil be required to be licensed in accordance with the <br /> City of Redwood City Business License Ordinance, Municipal Code Chapter 3.40 through 3.96, <br /> entitled "Business Tax". Business license information (application, ordinance, fees) can be <br /> found by navigating to the City of Redwood City homepage (www.redwoodcity.org) and <br /> selecting"Business," "Starting a Business," "Permits," and "Business Licenses." <br /> 14. Review and Selection Process <br /> City staff will evaluate the Bids based on the following criteria: <br /> • Quality and completeness of Bid; <br /> • Quality, performance, and effectiveness of services to be provided by the <br /> Contractor; <br /> � Contractor's experience, including the experience of staff to be assigned to the <br /> project,the engagements of similar scope and complexity; <br /> • Cost to the City(Bid price alone will not be the sole determining factor); <br /> • Contractor's ability to perform the work within the time specified; <br /> � Contractor's prior record of performance (including safety record)with City or other; <br /> and <br /> • Contractor's compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies (including City <br /> Council policies), guidelines and orders governing prior or existing contracts <br /> performed by the Contractor. <br /> The City reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to determine which Bid is, in the City's <br /> judgment,the most responsive. The City also reserves the right to waive any informality in any <br /> Bid and to delete certain items listed in the Bid as set forth therein. <br /> 7he City's selection committee will make a recommendation to the awarding authority. <br /> Written Notice of Award will be made to the successful Contractor. <br /> 15. Award of Contract <br /> 15.1. When Award Occurs <br /> Award of contract occurs when a Purchase Order is issued or other evidence of <br /> acceptance by the City is provided to the Contractor.
