Mending and repair turnaround time shall <br /> be 1 —2 weeks. <br /> Lost Items: <br /> City shall pay the pro-rated replacement value listed on the fee schedule for any missing <br /> uniforms at the time when an employee is stopped. <br /> Environmental Performance: <br /> In addition, the Contractor agrees that: <br /> A. Delivery and shipping waste is to be avoided and Contractor will accept hangers <br /> that cleaned uniforms are shipped on for reuse; <br /> B. All materials used to transport or protect laundered uniforms during delivery to the <br /> City must be recyclable in the City's Zero Waste Program; and <br /> C. Contractor shall provide separate and segregated collection and delivery system <br /> for uniforms to avoid disease cross-contamination and ensure hygienic uniforms <br /> while minimizing solid waste generation. The Contractor shall provide plastic, <br /> paper, reusable, or an "opt out option" for garment covering for each City <br /> division/department upon request. The Contractor shall meet ISO requirements or <br /> other industry standards ensuring efficiency, hygiene and environmental <br /> performance. <br /> Garment Specification — Standard Issue: <br /> Contractor shall provide a variety of rental uniform colors, including: Navy, Charcoal <br /> Gray/Steel, Athletic Meather/Medium Gray, Sandstone/Khaki, Light Blue and Black or <br /> standard product colors. <br /> Additional Specifications: <br /> Contractor shall supply new jackets for new employee's and new and/or slightly used <br /> replacement garments through the U.S. Communities Program for replacement jackets. <br /> Replacement uniform pieces shall be new or slightly used replacement garments through <br /> the U.S. Communities Program. <br /> Contractor shall number each pant/shirt with a bar code. <br /> Contractor shall use a cleaning detergent that: <br /> A. Removes oil and grease <br /> B. Garments must smell clean to City's satisfaction. <br /> Contractor shall comply with a 1 — 2 week turnaround time for pickup, laundering, and <br /> return of uniform to City for any new and/or replacement uniforms. <br /> Contractor shall mend, repair and return uniforms within a 1 -2 week time period. <br /> Compensation & Billing: <br /> Contractor shall submit weekly invoices for costs to rent, launder, and/or replace uniforms <br /> as applicable.
