B. Appointments to City Council- appointed Boards, Committees, and Commissions 1. Senior Affairs Commission (four four -year terms, expiring May 31, 2008, and one unexpired term, expiring May 31, 2006). The following applicants were considered to serve on the Senior Affairs Commission: (209) • Karen Carson • Jean Harrison • Betty Moran • Jodi Paley • Vincent Truscelli Mayor Ira stated that the Council had received a letter from Jean Harrison seeking appointment to the unexpired term, leaving the remainder of the applicants listed available to serve in the four -year terms. M/S Hartnett/Ruskin to appoint Jean Harrison to the unexpired term, expiring May 31, 2006, and appoint the Karen Carson, Betty Moran, Jodi Paley and Vincent Truscelli to the four four -year terms expiring May 31, 2008. The motion passed by a unanimous roll call vote. 2. Board of Building Review (three four -year terms, expiring May 31, 2008 and one unexpired four -year term, expiring May 31, 2006). The following applicants were considered to serve on the Board of Building Review with the vote noted: • Keith Bautista — Council Members Bain, Ruskin, Vice Mayor Pierce and Mayor Ira • John Murphy - Council Members, Foust, Vice Mayor Pierce and Mayor Ira • Wayne Paulsen - Council Members Bain, Ruskin, Vice Mayor Pierce and Mayor Ira • Michael Torres — Council Member Bain Foust, Hartnett, Howard, Hartnett, Howard, Ruskin, Foust, Hartnett, Howard, The successful applicants appointed to the three four -year terms, expiring May 31, 2008 are Keith Bautista, John Murphy and Wayne Paulsen.
