Submittal of Equalized General Improvement District 1 -64 Assessment Roll -- Board of Equalization (510) Financial Services Accountant Greenhorn explained the annual process and that all property owners received a letter explaining the process and any questions can be directed to the Financial Services Division. Mayor Ira opened the public hearing. Public Comment: John Murphy, resident and homeowner of GID 1 -64 for 35 years, reminded the City Council that it wears dual hats, one that of Board of Directors of the General Improvement District. He thanked Alison Freeman for the copy of the report that is also available at Sandpiper School for anyone who might care to find the value of the properties. He encouraged promoting voter registration in the area and complimented the Council in its approach to the Marina Shores development. M/S Foust/Bain to close the public hearing. The motion passed by a unanimous voice vote. M/S Ruskin /Howard to accept the equalized assessment roll for the General Improvement District 1 -64 for the 2004 -05 fiscal year. The motion passed by a unanimous voice vote by those present.
