Carey & Co. Inc. San Mateo County Courthouse South Annex Pre-Demolition Recordation July 20, 2004 Phase One - Proposed Scope of Services. 2 for review. This draft will consist of high-quality photocopies of selected prints as well as a key and index. Following receipt of comments the photographs will be archivally processed and the final recordation package will be assembled and distributed. 3. Distribution. One set of archival photographs and negatives will be provided to the San Mateo County Historical Association. One set of archival photographs (no negatives) will be provided to the City of Redwood City Library. Cost Proposal Carey & Co, will undertake the scope of services for fee not to exceed $6,240.00 without prior written authorization. This fee includes all direct expenses, including those for archival processing of photographs. Schedule Carey & Co. will submit the draft photographic documentation for the city's review within 15 business days of completing the field photography. This assumes that Carey & Co. will have complete access to the building as necessary. The final documentation will be distributed within 15 business days of receipt of comments on the draft photographic documentation. Supplemental Services and Exclusions 1. All supplemental services will require prior written authorization from the client. 2. If adequate photographic documentation requires more than 25 photographs as mutually decided upon by the city and Carey & Co., this will be a supplemental service. 3. If it can be arranged, the City of Redwood City shall provide a person lift for close-up photography of the exterior decorative friezes. Operation of this type of equipment will be by others, not Carey & Co. staff. 4. All work will be performed by Carey & Co. If additional consultants are required, this will be a supplemental service. No consultants will be placed under contract without prior written approval from the client. 5. This proposal and the terms contained herein are good for a six month period from the date of the proposaL If an agreement for professional services has not been concluded prior to the end of the six month period, Carey & Co. reserves the right to prepare a revised scope of services and estimated project cost. 6. Per section 5536.22 of the 2000 Architects Practice Act, Carey & Co. will not commence work prior to the execution of a written contract, 7. Attendance at meetings or hearings is not within this scope of services and none are reflected in the cost proposal.
