M /S: Greenalch /Buchan <br />RESOLUTION NO. 11379 AUTHORIZING ISSUANCE OF LETTER PERMIT AND REGULATING <br />USE OF PUBLIC RIGHTS -OF -WAY IN CONNECTION THEREWITH "SUNFLOWER FESTIVAL" <br />(ARTS AND WINE ) <br />Adopted by unanimous roll call vote. <br />-------------------------------------------------------------------------- - - - - -- <br />9. House Donation to the City of Redwood City (203 -04, 1501 -01) <br />Report: Community Development Director, 8/20/90 <br />Housing Coordinator Jones - Thomas, presented the staff report and in response <br />to Council questions advised the proposed use of the house would be <br />discussed at a Public Hearing on September 17, 1990 with the staff <br />recommending leasing it to Youth and Family Assistance as an emergency <br />shelter for homeless youth. <br />Councilman Murray expressed concern that recommendations for the use of the <br />house were being proposed without providing specific details to the <br />Council, and without Council or public input. <br />Community Development Director Pawloski advised details would be provided; <br />the lessee would provide funds to bring the building up to code; there would <br />be a Public Hearing on September 17, 1990 for public input; and, their would <br />be conditions included in the Use Permit to reflect Council policy. <br />a. M /S: Claire /Bury to set a Public Hearing for September 17, 1990 to <br />consider accepting the house donation and its attendant costs <br />Carried by unanimous roll call vote. <br />b.
