Policy on non - discrimination based on handicap in federally assisted program <br />and activities <br />Report: Community Development Director, October 10, 1990 <br />Housing Coordinator Jones - Thomas presented the staff report and described <br />requirements and definitions according to Section 504 of the Fair Housing <br />Amendments Act. Also, a separate committee is necessary as HUD requires 60% <br />of the people on the committee to be those impacted by the policy or those <br />who provide services. <br />Council discussed appointing a staff member rather than hiring a new <br />employee to coordinate City's responsibilities. <br />MINUTE BOOK NO. 50 Reg.
