b. City Engineer Luck presented a report on near term projects (0 -5 years) <br />including: Brittan Interchange - Phase I, which will be the first <br />interchange to be built in the Redwood City corridor; Woodside Road West <br />of E1 Camino Real; Sequoia Station Multi Modal Transportation Facility; <br />Blomquist Extension; E1 Camino Real South of Woodside; East Bayshore R <br />realignment at Seaport Blvd.; and Congestion Management Plan. <br />C. Planning Director Patterson presented a report on long term projects <br />(6 -10 years) including: Measure A Maple Avenue Interchange; Woodside <br />Road Interchange; Woodside Road Viaduct; Bayfront Expressway; and R. R. <br />Grade Separation Structures. <br />------------------------------------------------------------------------------ <br />Mayor La Berge declared a recess at 8:35 p.m. <br />Meeting reconvened at 8:50 p.m. <br />------------------------------------------------------------------------ - - - - -- <br />Council Members discussed impacts on traffic in Redwood City after <br />Brittan Interchange is completed; proposed East Bayshore Expressway to the <br />Dumbarton Bridge; alternative routes into Redwood Shores; Whipple Road <br />intersection; the Blomquist extension; lack of walkways and bike pathways <br />connecting neighboring cities and rimming the bay; and lack of access to <br />wetlands. <br />2. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS <br />a. Gus Pappas, 587 Seahorse Lane, Redwood City addressed Council regarding <br />impact of advancing technology on transportation management. <br />b.
