The developer's responsibility should be more specific; <br />the list of 7 items from Councilman Murray's draft ordinance was <br />proposed to be inserted in this paragraph to provide a plan for <br />affordability and prevent future slums. <br />The mover and seconder did not accept this amendment. <br />1. Page 4. Add Section 5 to read "In approving application for the density <br />bonuses or other incentives the Council may select any incentive or a <br />combination of incentives and density bonus that are authorized by state <br />law ". <br />This amendment accepted by the mover and seconder of the motion. <br />Carried by unanimous roll call vote. <br />MINUTE ORDER NO. 90 -189 <br />In response to Councilman Stangel's question, City Attorney Schricker <br />advised that all requests for permit approval for density bonus projects <br />would come before the Council which is different from other development <br />permits. <br />In response to Councilman Murray's questions, Planning Director <br />Patterson advised the permit goes before the Planning Commission and <br />then to the City Council with recommendations from the Planning Commission. <br />Councilman Greenalch advised the ordinance and amendments would advance the <br />goals of the Housing Element of the General Plan and would not create <br />slums. <br />Title read. M /S: Bury /Greenalch to introduce ordinance with above <br />amendments <br />ORDINANCE ADDING SECTIONS 32.19, 32.20 AND 32.21 TO ORDINANCE NO. 1130, THE <br />REDWOOD CITY ZONING ORDINANCE, AS AMENDED, REGARDING DENSITY BONUSES AND <br />INCENTIVES FOR RESIDENTIAL HOUSING DEVELOPMENTS.
