Reference is made to that certain real property situated in the City of Redwood City, <br /> County of San Mateo, State of California, knoum as the 849 Veterans Boulevard site and described on <br /> Exhibit"A", attached hereto and incorporated by this reference as if fully set forth herein (the <br /> "Property"). The Property is being developed as an apartment project. <br /> B. In connection with its development of the Property as a residential community, the <br /> Pro erty Owner subrnitted to the City Site Improvement Package compiled by BKF Engineers dated <br /> �pp}�M��, `st , 2016, which include, inter alia, landscaping plans for along the Property frontage <br /> ("Plans"),all of which Plans have been approved by the City. The Plans provide for installation of certain <br /> landscaping, pedestrian lighting, irrigation, and paths ("Improvements") within Veterans Boulevard and <br /> Main Street ("Maintenance Area") as the Improvements and Maintenance Area are more specifically <br /> shown on E�ibit"B"attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof. <br /> C. The City and the Property Owner desire to enter into an agreement pursuant to which the <br /> Property Owner will maintain the Improvements within the Maintenance Area as both are depicted on <br /> Exhibit"B". <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City and the Property Owner(together,the "Parties")hereby agree as <br /> follows: <br /> 1. PURPOSE OF AGREEMENT.
