Docktown Marina: Provide advice and assistance with closure of the Marina and <br /> relocation of the tenants. <br /> • Act as project manager for the preparation of the Docktown Plan for the closure of <br /> the Docktown Marina in compliance with state law; <br /> • Coordinate the services of a separate relocation consultant for the portions of the <br /> plan that will set forth the method, cost and timing of terminating existing rental <br /> agreements, relocating boats and live-a-board vessels, and acquisition and removal <br /> of vessels that cannot be relocated; <br /> • Explore, with staff, the feasibility of relocating some or all boats and liveaboards; <br /> • Explore, with staff, the feasibility of giving current Docktown community members <br /> who meet affordable housing criteria preference in City affordable housing projects; <br /> • Coordinate the preparation of the plan with the City Manager and City Attorney's <br /> Offices for City Council approval by December 31, 2016; <br /> • Incorporate into the Docktown Plan any recommendations that may arise from water <br /> and soil studies currently underway if appropriate; <br /> • Coordinate with staff to develop communications to Council, community and media <br /> on the Docktown Plan; and, <br /> • Attend Council meetings for the presentation of the plan. <br /> • Coordinate initial relocation activities with the OPC consulting firm in 2017. <br /> 2. City Owned Parcels and Properties: Create an inventory and recommendations for long- <br /> term use. The draft plan will be revised, presented to staff for use and a first phase program <br /> of property disposition will be developed. Disposition activities may include preparation of <br /> Request for Proposals, coordination of appraisals, and negotiation of disposition/sale <br /> agreements. <br /> 3.
