ORIGINAL <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> SAMARITAN HOUSE <br /> (Safe Harbor) <br /> 16 6 c.1 <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this day of 0 19e2 ----- <br /> ' 2016 , by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and municipal <br /> corporation of the State of California ("City") and SAMARITAN HOUSE, a <br /> California nonprofit organization ("Contractor"; collectively the "Parties"). <br /> WITNESSETH : <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor provides certain services through programs, <br /> including the program described in Exhibits "A" ("Program & Quantitative Goals") , <br /> and " B" ("Program Budget"), attached hereto and made a part hereof; and <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to <br /> conduct the program described in Exhibit A for residents of City during the fiscal <br /> year commencing July 1 , 2016 , and ending June 30 , 2017 (the "Fiscal Year") ; and <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the Parties hereby agree as follows: <br /> 1 . FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE . City will allocate to Contractor the sum of <br /> Seventeen Thousand Dollars ($ 17, 000 .00) for exclusive use by Contractor during <br /> the fiscal year commencing July 1 , 2016, and ending June 30, 2017 , solely for the <br /> purposes described in Paragraph 2 . <br /> 2 . USE OF FUNDS . Contractor will use the funds provided pursuant to <br /> Paragraph 1 solely for the Project objectives described in Exhibit A and Exhibit B, <br /> attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein . <br /> 3. CHANGES TO PROJECT.
