8.1.A. - Page 23 <br /> EXHIBIT "A" <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br /> The City of Redwood City is resuming with the construction of the Bair Island Storm Pump Station Project. The <br /> Consultant shall provide the following new and additional services as needed during the construction phase of the <br /> project on a time and material basis up to the limit of Consultant's budget. <br /> TASK 7.0 Engineering Support Services during Construction <br /> Task 7.1 Review submittals, RFIs and Change Orders -- Consultant shall review a selected number of shop drawing <br /> submittals.RFIs and change orders as requested by the City.It is assumed that City staff or CM staff will review the <br /> remaining submittals,RFIs and change orders. Consultant shall provide services up to the limit of authorized budget <br /> for this task. <br /> Task 7.2 Provide Final Record Drawings -- Consultant shall prepare record drawings based on a single construction <br /> markup set of drawings provided by the City or City's construction manager. Consultant shall furnish one set of full <br /> size plans reproducible media. <br /> Task 7.3 PLC Startup -- Consultant shall provide PLC startup assistance up to the limit of authorized budget for this <br /> task. <br /> Task 7.4 Other Startup and Commissioning Assistance-- Consultant shall provide as needed technical assistance on <br /> commissioning and bringing online the new Bair Island Storm Pump Station. <br /> Task 7.5 Site Visits and Construction Meetings--Consultant shall make site visits and attend construction meetings as <br /> requested by the City. <br /> TASK 8.0 Additional Construction Issue Resolution <br /> Task 8.1 As Needed SVCW Force Main Resolution --Consultant shall provide as requested assistance to resolve any <br /> issues that arise with the result of the operation and decommissioning of SVCW's existing force main.. <br /> Task 8.2 As Needed Construction Problem Resolution and Assistance -- Consultant shall provide as requested <br /> assistance on other potential issues that may arise during construction of the new Bair Island Storm Pump Station and <br /> decommissioning of the existing pump station. <br /> Assumptions <br /> Consultant shall provide as requested engineering services during construction up to the limit of authorized budget. <br /> Estimated effort is based on an average level of effort and City staff and CM staff doing part of the work. Actual <br /> effort required may vary depending on the contractor, subcontractors, City and CM staff involvement, construction <br /> schedule and unforeseen site conditions and issues. <br /> FEE SCHEDULE <br /> Consultant's Services under this Amendment as set forth above are not to exceed$63,515.00.
