SCOPE OF WORK AND FEE I. Scope of Work Contractor will furnish all labor, tools, equipment, and materials necessary to perform services needed to properly maintain the traffic signals and street lighting owned by the City. Contractor will provide 24-hour emergency phone service and have technicians available 24 -hours per day, seven days per week to respond to all emergency calls in a timely manner, meeting or exceeding the response standards described below. Traffic Signals 1 Emergency and accident response One (1 ) Hour or less 2 Outages and signal malfunctions Two 2 Hours or less 3 Replacement of burned out signal lamps Two (2) Hours or less 4 1 Safety street -lighting Forty-eight (48) Hours or less Street -Lighting: 1 Emergency and accident response One (1) Hour or less 2 Outages or malfunctions Forty-eight (48) Hours or less Permanent repair work generated from normal maintenance and emergency response will be completed as soon as possible, and in all cases within twenty-one (21) calendar days or less, unless extended in writing by the Public Works Superintendent. Signal Turn -Off and Sinal On Flash: Contractor will immediately notify the City's Police Department and Public Works Department of any signal turn-offs or signal -on -flash necessitated by Contractor's operations in excess of fifteen (15) minutes. ?$ ,are Ep�uioment: Contractor will maintain adequate storage and shop facilities and a sufficient stock of fully tested controllers, spare parts and signal equipment to effectively maintain the City's traffic signals. Salvaged Equipment: Contractor will either hold in Contractor's shop and storage facilities, or deliver to a location designated by the City, any salvageable equipment or materials per the direction of the Public Works Superintendent or Public Works Director. Contractor is responsible for properly disposing any equipment declared non -salvageable by the City. Consultation: Contractor will provide traffic engineering review of traffic signal plans as requested by the City.
