Broadway (Sequoia Building/Montgomery Ward), and 2200 Broadway (Historic San <br /> Mateo County Courthouse), which immediately abut the project site; and <br /> WHEREAS, the historian report, dated June 20, 2016, finds that the Project is <br /> consistent with The Secretary of the Interior's Standards for the Treatment of Historic <br /> Properties with Guidelines for Preserving, Rehabilitating, Restoring & Reconstructing <br /> Buildings; and <br /> WHEREAS, the historian report also finds that the Project is consistent with <br /> standards and guidelines of Sections 2.1.3.H and 2.1.4.D of the DTPP; and <br /> WHEREAS, the historian report also finds that the Project will not adversely affect <br /> the historical significance of adjacent resources because the proposed alterations are <br /> very minimal; and <br /> WHEREAS, on October 13, 2016, the HRAC conducted a duly-noticed public <br /> meeting in accordance with all applicable requirements of State Law, to review the <br /> report prepared by Tom Origer & Associates, along with other associated project <br /> materials. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HISTORIC RESOURCES <br /> ADVISORY COMMITTEE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1. Under Section 2.0.3.A.3, the HRAC has reviewed the Project for <br /> conformance to the applicable Historic Resources Preservation standards and <br /> guidelines of the DTPP, and hereby finds that the Project is in conformance with the <br /> applicable Historic Resources Preservation standards and guidelines. <br /> Section 2. Under Section 2.1.4.A, the HRAC hereby finds that the Project will <br /> not have a significant adverse impact on the subject building and fully adheres to the <br /> Secretary of the Interior's Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties with <br /> Guidelines for Preserving, Rehabilitating, Restoring & Reconstructing Historic <br /> Buildings. <br /> Section 3. Under Section 2.1.4.D, the HRAC hereby finds that the Project will <br /> not create a substantial adverse change in the significance of the adjacent historic <br /> resources, and will protect the adjacent historic resources' continued eligibility for listing <br /> on the National Register. <br /> Section 4. The HRAC hereby finds that the proposed improvements will not <br /> adversely affect and will be compatible with the external appearance of existing <br /> designated improvements, buildings, and structures on said site. <br /> Section 5,.
