I feel so very appreciative of your hard work with
this project and want you to know that my family (on Farm Hill Blvd) is overjoyed with the
improvements to the road. The design allows the road to function as a safe thoroughfare for autos
and bicycles and, for those who live in the neighborhood, to experience easy access and exit to and
from their homes. In summation, you have managed to preserve Farm Hill Blvd. as a major
connector road and at the same time you have brought back the feel of a residential street to those
who live alongside it.
Thank you!
Tom Sorenson
Sent from my iPad
On Oct 17, 2016, at 7:36 PM, CD-Jessica Manzi <jmanzi@redwoodcity.org> wrote:
Quick update:
At a special meeting on Oct. 5, the Complete Streets Advisory Committee voted to
recommend that the City Council:
Make the pilot project permanent
Modify elements of the design to improve traffic operations, and
Continue to monitor the corridor and make adjustments as needed.
Over fifty people attended the meeting, and 31 spoke during the public comment
period.
