From:CD-Jessica Manzi
To:CD-Stacy Nicol
Subject:FW: Farm Hill Project
Date:Tuesday, October 18, 2016 8:53:22 AM
Jessica Manzi, PE
Community Development Department
Phone: (650)780-7372
-----Original Message-----
From: BuySell Mail ]
Sent: Tuesday, October 18, 2016 7:29 AM
To: GRP-Farm Hill Feedback <farmhillfeedback@redwoodcity.org>
Subject: Farm Hill Project
Hello,
This is Bernadette Monzon, a resident of Redwood City living on Farm Hill Boulevard.
While I have attended all of the meetings, I unfortunately was not able to attend the meeting on 10/5.
I have been a strong supporter of the Farm Hill changes and the states prove the increased safety these changes have
made. I have continued, however to voice my concern about the increase number of speeders in the 4000 block of
Farm Hill between Eden Bower and Wood Hill.
1)On the descent (east bound), cars will hazardously speed up in an effort to pass all vehicles on the merge. There
have been a few potential accidents because of this, or the on-going honking of horns.
2). On the up-climb, cars are speeding (2x+ the speed limit as if to make up time for having to drive much slower
throughout the single lanes of Farm Hill.
Bottom line, most of the safety issues may have been alleviated for most of the length of Farm Hill, but the 4000
block has taken the burden, and yet no improvements have been made.
Regards,
Bernadette Monzon
** This email was sent using my phone; please excuse my brevity and any typos. **
8.A. - Page 88
