ORIGINAL AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES (Cascade Drilling, L.P.) This Amendment No. 1 is entered into and effective as of the day of J_1Pk Uakz1 , 2018, amending the agreement dated November 3, 2016 (the "Agreement") by and between the City of Redwood City, a charter city and municipal corporation; ("City"), and Cascade Drilling, L.P., ("Consultant") (aollectively, the "Parties") for groundwater remediation drilling. RECITALS A. On November 3, 2016, the Parties executed an Agreement for Professional Services; and B. On October 27, 2017 the City executed a License and Access Agreement with the site property owner designating the terms of access to the work site, which limits Consultant's on-site work hours and increases costs for the work; and C. The Parties have negotiated and agreed to supplemental terms, including a revised project schedule. The Parties have also agreed to a Revised Fee Schedule, which is attached to and incorporated by this reference as Exhibit "A," (the "Revised Payment Schedule"). NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of these recitals and the mutual covenants contained herein, the Parties agree as follows: 1. Consultant will perform all on-site field work under the Agreement between the hours of 10:00 PM and 5:00 AM. 2. All equipment and materials will be removed from the work site between shifts. Consultant will have access to the Public Works municipal yard to stage and store equipment and materials during off -work hours for the Consultant. 3. The Project Schedule in Exhibit A of the Agreement is amended and restated in its entirety to read as follows: Action I Duration (weeks) Pre -pilot Test Activities and Materials Shipment 4-5 Pilot Test Field Activities 2-3 Contractor Pilot Test Report to City 2 Total 8-10 4.
