<br />operations on,and use of, the Leased Premises in such manner as to avoid, so <br />far as the same shall be reasonably practicable, discharging dust or other solids, <br />fumes, odors, gasses, or liquids into the environment so as to pollute the same. <br />The provisions of this paragraph do not apply to the chlorine contact chamber to <br />be constructed on the Leased Premises, which is to be operated and maintained <br />by Lessor, pursuant to the Agreement. <br />11. STORAGE ON LEASED PREMISES. Lessor shall assume no <br />responsibility for the guarding and safekeeping of property and equipment stored <br />upon or used in connection with the Leased Premises. <br />12. SIGNS. No signs, placards, or advertising devices of any type, <br />except signs advertising activities carried on at the Leased Premises, shall be <br />inscribed, painted, attached, or placed upon any portion of the Leased Premises, <br />or the improvements situated thereon, or upon the public areas adjacent thereto, <br />without obtaining the prior written consent of Lessor's Commission. <br />13. IMPROVEMENTS AND ADDITIONS. Lessee accepts the Leased <br />Premises in their present condition, pursuant to the Agreement for Production <br />and Delivery of Recycled Water Between the South Bayside System Authority - <br />and the City of Redwood City Upon the termination of this Lease, Lessee, at its <br />own expense, may within sixty (60) days remove from the Leased Premises any <br />or all structures, goods, materials, machinery, equipment, and improvements <br />situated thereon at the commencement of the term of this Lease or thereafter <br />placed thereon by it save and except for pilings and foundations to the extent the <br />same do not rise above the surface of the land. All such items not removed <br />within said period shall, at the option of the Lessor, become the property of the <br /> 8 1108669.4 <br />
