<br /> I <br /> AGREEMENT O~614: <br /> Caminar, Inc. ~( <br /> Redwood House Kitchen Renovation Project <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this ~ day of ~OJtJv , <br />2004, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and municipal <br />corporation of the State of California ("City") and Caminar, Inc., a California nonprofit <br />organization ("Contractor") (collectively the "Parties"); <br /> WIT N E SSE T H: <br />WH=REAS, Contractor desires to renovate/improve its facility (the "Project), located <br />at 248 Redwood Avenue, Redwood City, California, Which provides services to individuals <br />with disabilities who are residents of the City; and <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to complete the <br />Project that will benefit residents of City during the fiscal year commencing July 1 , 2003, and <br />ending June 30,2004; and <br />WHEREAS, City has reviewed said request and the Project and desires to allocate to <br />Contractor the sum of Fifty Five Thousand, Four Hundred Fifty Seven and no/100 Dollars <br />($55,457) from its Community Development Block Grant funds for the Project; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the Parties hereby agree as follows: <br />1. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. City will allocate to Contractor the sum of Fifty Five <br />Thousand, Four Hundred Fifty Seven and no/100 Dollars ($55,457.00) for exclusive use by <br />Contractor during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2003, and ending June 30, 2004, <br />solely for the purposes described in Paragraph 2. <br />2. USE OF FUNDS. Contractor will use the funds provided pursuant to Paragraph <br />1 solely for the Project purposes described in Exhibit A (Budget) and Exhibit B (Contractor <br />Objectives), attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. <br />9/11/03 1 <br /> T ,... r -.. <br />
