SECTION 44.22. FEES, CHARGES; ESTABLISHED BY RESOLUTION <br /> OF BOARD. <br /> <br /> The owners of boats using any harbor facility or service shall pay the <br /> charges thereon established by resolution of the Board of Port Commissioners. <br /> <br /> SECTION 44.23. SALE OF BOAT FOR DELINQUENT CHARGES - <br /> GENERALLY. <br /> <br /> When the charges for mooring, anchorage or wharf storage, or any other <br /> proper charge on any boat, are delinquent for thirty (30) days or more, the City <br /> shall take possession of any such boat, and after due notice given by the City <br /> Manager, as required by law,sell such boat at public auction. <br /> <br /> SECTION 44.24. MOVING DELINQUENT BOAT; NOTICE TO <br /> <br />DELINQUENT OWNER. <br /> <br /> The City may move any boat from the mooring for which the charges are <br />delinquent and place it for safekeeping 72 hours after either (a) the person in <br />charge or control of the boat has received a written notice stating that any boat <br />without a permit or with delinquent charges may be impounded 72 hours after <br />the delivery of the Impound Notice (the "Warning of Impound Notice"); or (2) the <br />boat has been posted with a Warning Impound Notice. <br /> <br /> The Warning of Impound Notice shall provide that the owner of the boat <br />will be liable for all towing and storage charges prior to the release of the boat to <br />the owner. <br /> <br />F:Atty/OrdlOrd. 149 1 0 <br />041602 <br /> <br /> <br />
