The goal is to have the survey process <br />completed by the end of the year. <br />Commissioner Britschgi stated her frustration at the slow pace of getting the new facility built and <br />having another survey. Commissioner Paley stated that the survey was needed to get the word out <br />again. Chair Draeger stated that this is an update to the scoping study that was previously done not a <br />reinvention of it. Bruce stated that it is a slow process but the project is on schedule and the survey <br />results should be available by January. <br />Chair Draeger encouraged the commissioners to attend other commission and committee meetings. <br />Commissioners James and Jones stated that they have been doing that. Bruce suggested inviting the <br />Park & Recreation Commission to a joint meeting. <br /> <br />Announcements <br />• Art on the Square will have its next event on Nov. 19th in the History Museum <br />• San Mateo County is having a Fair Oaks meeting about a parking garage on Middlefield <br /> <br />Adjournment <br />The regular meeting of the Seniors Affairs Commission was adjourned at 2:20 p.m. The next regular <br />meeting will be on Thursday, November 10, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. in the Veterans Memorial Senior Center <br />in Redwood City, California. <br />
