Comprehensive Housing Affordability Strategy (302-10) <br /> <br />Report: <br /> <br />Housing and Human Concerns Committee, May 14, 1991 <br /> <br />Debbie Jones-Thomas presented report and overheads. <br /> <br />Charles Greer, 110 Nimitz, Chairman of Housing and Human Concerns Committee. <br />Committees concern is the matching fund element for CHAS and the need to <br />come up with private source of funds for match. <br /> <br />James Hartnett, 346 Grand Street, member of the Housing and Human Concerns <br />Committee. Main concern of the committee was how the City could generate <br />matching funds. <br /> <br />Councilman Greenalch requested housing element goals spelled out by the <br />Housing and Human Concern Committee. <br /> <br />MEMO 5/22/91 <br /> <br />Mike Church discussed strategy #8 and the NEXUS Study <br /> <br />Council discussed time line schedule, federal funds, formula for grants, <br />county funds, policies, NEXUS Study, inclusionary zoning, strategy #8 and in <br />lieu fees. <br /> <br />Councilman Murray emphasized that the method for affordable housing be <br />something which everyone in the community feels is fair.
